Who Are We?

DeSalt is a New Zealand company created by four ordinary Kiwi blokes who enjoy the great outdoors, in particular the coast and all it has to offer.

Frustrated by the lack of quality products available and the cost of flushing outboard motors, these guys set about designing a product themselves. Working with an experienced Environmental Chemist, their first attempt at creating a product was pretty good, but they knew they could do better, so it was back to the drawing board. After loads of testing and tweaking, DeSalt was born.

We are passionate about DeSalt and its applications, and keen for all boaties to have access to it. DeSalt can be ordered online through this website, or can be purchased at Hutchwilco stores nationwide.
